[For a moment Fenris wants to rebuttal and not hear anymore of this. There's even a part of him that feels disappointment that Rafe is confirming Fenris's previous concern. But then he feels the chill off of Rafe's body, the few parts of his skin not covered in scales getting goosebumps, and he remembers that Rafe has died again and again. Of the two of them he's suffered most at the hands of the Fog. Then he reminds himself that Rafe doesn't suggest things lightly, without thinking them through, and he can let go of that disappointed feeling.
But he really doesn't agree.
