He hasn't exactly been at his best, and so he spends more time sitting among his mountains of randomly assorted items than he does the rest of the house.
At the moment he's focused on sorting through one of his latest bags of loot, sat by an old nightstand where he is sorting shiny things into drawers. If there's any rhyme or reason to his sorting it's hard to tell. Either way, Rafe's presence stops him immediately.
