At least he admits that there's something amiss as opposed to blaming it all on Fenris being delusional. His only real hesitation is before he takes a seat, but after a moment of thought — how quickly can he stand up, move across the room, defend himself from a seated position — he shrugs out of the strap of his sheath and leans it against something right beside him.
