AU History: ○ Mother was a live in maid for a wealthy man from Bavan, had two kids (himself and his sister), who were allowed to stay at the estate. ○ When he became of age (13) he was put to work alongside his mother to earn their place. Said wealthy man was very strict and particular about Leto's dress and habits, which resulted in Leto defiantly getting his entire body tattooed because fuck you you're not even his real father. ○ Mother was attacked and killed by a monster, wealthy man sent him off to the orphanage but his sister stayed behind as she showed more "promise" (read, she kissed his ass because she wanted his lifestyle) ○ Lived in the orphanage until he was old enough to live on his own, got odd jobs around town to pay for a crap apartment and feed himself ○ Went back to get his sister (because he still cares about her even if they never saw eye to eye), found out she was killed by a monster ○ "FUCK MONSTERS"
