[ That's all the warning he gets before Rafe leans down to catch him in a kiss, the unnatural blue of his eyes fixed on slitted green and damn the distance between them. ]

[Fenris wants to wipe that smirk off of Rafe's face, but even if he was about to do anything about it he doesn't have the chance. He almost loses balance in his seating, which is actually fairly easy considering how many parts he has leaning heavily in every which direction — all it takes is to catch him by surprise.

The slit pupil expands briefly in his surprise before it returns to normal, his lids want to close, flutter about halfway before he remembers no more than a couple of seconds ago that Rafe told him to keep them open. His spines remain perked up in his alertness, worried about the fact that their eyes are locked with each other, the lines traversing his body beginning to glow in his anxiety. But nothing happens. Or, he thinks nothing is happening. He's too afraid to do anything or to express his desire in any way, as that had been the catalyst — from what he can understand — of his awakened power.]

[ He offers an approving hum seeing how Fenris listens, the proximity almost making his eyes cross but there's no mistaking that flash of green. Well, a hum and an insistent tongue licking along Fenris's lips that's now plenty familiar with the fangs peeking past them. Confidence is the by-word, what he exudes as naturally as the air he no longer needs to breathe, and he

And maybe that's another part of why he's doing this. To regain his own confidence by paving over those few cracks that came from losing control, no matter the method of it, nor how briefly or how pleasurable it had been. To erase the stranger in his skin that had responded so readily under that dominating stare rather than fighting back.

But if it is any piece to his motive, then it's his own business and none of Fenris's. Fenris, who's the focus here as Rafe lets his fingers drag down the column of his throat along the line of glowing scales there. ]

[His eyes want to close. He wants his eyes to close. And for a moment that's all he can give focus to — that is until he feels Rafe's fingers dragging down the glowing markings on his scales, his body shuddering at any delicate attention given to them. His lips part as if the markings were the key to opening a closed door, his tongue coming to life to meet with Rafe's and possessively entangle around it.

Fenris hums appreciatively as well. A hand comes up to grasp at Rafe's shoulder, claws clinging reflexively. It's easier for him not to focus on his eyes still being open, to allow himself to get lost in his want, his need to have Rafe, to make him his...

The intensity of his glow begins to seep into his eyes, the slit pupils growing thinner as his lids raise instead of threatening to close.]
